Enduring Faith

St. James Sunday school uses the Enduring Faith Bible curriculum. As students progress from preschool through adult, they learn all about their Savior Jesus Christ, what their Savior means for them, how to defend their faith, and how to teach the faith to others. The adult Bible class led by Grace Gillespie is also using the Enduring Faith curriculum, written for adults, to study the same lessons as the children and youth. This is an excellent weekly way to connect with all ages around the same Bible story. 

Peace: Overcoming Anxiety and Conflict

How can you experience the “peace that transcends all understanding”? How can you guard your heart and mind from the stress of everyday life? Together we will discover how we can cope with anxiety, how we can feel safe in God’s care, and how we can live at peace with others. This study will run for seven weeks. The first six weeks will each focus on only one or two passages that will allow us to see each passage in its context. Questions will be discussed to help us discover what the Bible says rather than simply telling us what it says. The final week will be a review and summary of the prior weeks. Coffee Club

led by Pastor David French every Thursday at 7:00 a.m. in the conference room (church office)

The Thursday morning “Coffee Club” will be resuming our weekly 7:00-7:45 a.m. Bible study. We use an informal format. The first 15 minutes is coffee and a pastry followed by reading a chapter and plenty of discussion. If it works for you, just give us a try!
